Ok, when you send post notification emails. It would be GREAT, if you showed several things. (A) The NAME of the topic (B) Where it is in the message board (C) And who posted it
I think that might be a good idea. Not necessarily a REALLY good idea as you suggest, but a good idea. Of course, I never use the e-mail notification function, so I really can only guess at what you're talking about.
The email thing is not good. It floods your email with a lot of stuff....well only if you are a spamer...
There is one problem with this. You should be able to switch it off. I remember the days when someone made a new thread, which got spammed to hell by friend al, loo and myself with some usless shit, when the person checked their mail, he/she would get 30+ emails. Now that sucks, however, while I am mod that doesn't happen anymore. Still I would say it's a "use at your own risk" option. I'll talk to Calis.
Yes you should make it where if you want it you can have it and if you dont want it then you can take it off. Because if everyone had it then sometimes people would get pissed. Because I have had it on a different forum and I never checked what it said. But I am not sure about other people.
