A pacifist in the BMC mines

Anyway, why does a pacifict need a pack mule. Imho all a pacifist needs to carry is:

Elegant dress/smoking jacket
Ring of influence
Jewel of Habe/medallion of beauty
possibly eye goggles or charged rings
maybe gloves of dex
potions of haste/health/fatigue
Key ring
notes
quest items (including gods quest)

 

Its to help haul all that useless armor & weapons from dungeons back to the stores.

 

Okay fine, why do you need money as a pacifist, if you do lots of quests you get enough money anyway since you can normaly persuade people to help you for free.

The best way to be a paciffist is to use entangle with 20 intelligence (so you can keep up 5 at once) so you can easily get gambling for only 5cp's which you can get money with to buy the boat near the end.

 

If you're such a great gambler you don't need money for the ship, you can simply gamble for one. Use a Fate Point if you need.

 

You need money as a deposit for gambling for your ship. I think that it's programmed so you automatically win but I'm not sure, maybe I got lucky. (Try saving first)

 

Oh I didn't know that - he didn't want to gamble with me because my skill was to low.

 

He doesn't need money, he is a pacifist. He wants money, he is a Gnome. Not all pacifists live in volintary poverty like Gandi.

As for the boat, all of Stringy Pete's quests can be done non violently. And he does need the experience points.
