I just have a couple of questions on some things. 1-Is there anyway for a straight tech character to travel from city to city that is not the world map? LIke i know mages can develop teleport but is there anything like that kind of a thing for techies?? 2-I have noticed that sometimes after I level up I am being rewwarded 2 character points and then sometimes I only get 1. Like I had 2 CP's i didn't use at level 29 and I just leveld up to level 30 and now I have 4 CP's. Why is that, does anyone know? Do you get CP's for doing anything besides leveling up? that's it i think. any help is appreciated. edit: just thought of one more...is there some sort of level cap in this game? i thought i saw somewhere level 50 and if so then how in the world are you supposed to get enough character points to fill all tech slots or all magic slots...is that even possible? thanks <font size=-1>[ This Message was edited by: Mooddawg on 2002-01-01 11:59 ]</font>
1/ If u are technologist, you must travel "manually". There's nothing like a "telport" schematic or something like that :smile: 2/ You gain 2 CPs when your lvl is a multiple of 5 (lvl 5, 10, 15 etc...) The standard lvl cap is lvl 50 but you can increase this limit by using some "hacks"... and the goal of the game is NOT filling all technological/magical slots (at least for me)
1/there are trains which are tech machines! (and boats ofcourse but there are for everybody) 2/i didnt know that! 3/thats the whole point of the game... to develop some of the skills,it's NOT like diablo or something,you cant develop all the skills(without cheating). this is why people are having such a hard time choosing th etype of the character that they will play with.
Level Cap is 50 but you can download a patch from this site that removes it. The CPs thing is based on how fast you level up. And not there is no Techie Teleport
Yeah, but what fun is it being super-powerful? An' anyway, don't cap-removers have a chance of screwing up your character? Or was that jus' in Baldur's Gate 2, pre-expansion?
