A few questions for a newbie

I'm having some difficulties figuring out a few things.

1. I have two members in my party, Virgil and Magnus. All of a sudden the reaction of each has plummeted. Virgil's is at -1000 and Magnus is at 0. I have no clue why this happened. Has anyone seen this?
2. I have yet to be successful picking a lock. I must have tried a 100 times. I have a skill of two and I'm at Apprentice level but no matter what I can't pick a lock. Any tips?
3. How do I enter the Wheel Clan site? I can click on the rock but nothing happens. Am I missing a special item?

1.Maybe you killed some taterred bowmen?
2.Which lock?
3.You need the kathorn glasses

 

2. At that low of skill, you probably have jammed the lock. Go away for a couple of days and it might get unstuck.
1. I think that is a bug. A few other people have encountered that problem. Patch your game, or like he/she said, you might have killed some tattered bowman.

What Maniac and gamenut are saying about the tattered bowmen is, if you attack them before they attack you, Magnus and Virgil see them as good. Therefore they start to get pissed at you. It also happens if you slaughter all the bunnies you see.
