This is my first time playing arcanum and i got a few questions...

first off im not very schooled in the ways of rpgs so im a bit confused as to what some of these abreveations mean in reguards to weapons armor etc..

    FT, FR, NP, FD, ED...
im most interested in what they do for you in combat ...

i also have a quest question... im on my way to the wheel clan but i didnt get the special glasses off of that dwarf on the isle of despair... my question is can you get the glasses any other way... ive basically been searching all the towns i can, looking for a way (and doing almost every mini quest in the meantime)... but ive yet to run across anything..
so i just want to know if its possible before i go back there and chop off that dwarfs head and just take the damn things...

id apreciate if you are carefull to not spoil anything for me because it is my first time through a few hints would be helpfull but dont just tell me exactly what to do...

    thanks in advance..

Go to the eyewear creator in Ashbury, his shop is on the docks, and request him to create special eyeglasses. Of course, you need some kathroian (sp?) crystal and some money.

You can chop the Dwar'f's head off & take the things, but you cannot go back.

In Ashbury there is an Optomitrist.

Most of those acronims are covered in the manual. The most commonly asked of the rest; DOT = damage over time, TH = to hit, MA/TA = Magical / Tech Aptitude. FT = that blue gauge, you pass out when it is empty.

    Well yes, but

So I thought I would do it in baby steps. Sorry if it seemed uninformative, flip or sarcastic to you.
