A couple of Q. about magickal amp...

i was just wondering if u have a high magick amp. can u still use plate mail or is that plate mail cosidered tec??
And also if u have a high magick amp. can u have tec. items in ure invetory with out losing some points???
(i was a tec. guy and i used healing portion qiet alot and a lost 1 point of beauty)

 

I think you can use any normal plate mail without penalty. Alot of plate mails (elite and mechanical) are tech, though, so you'll have a higher chance of a critical failure. There are magical armors out there which are probably easier to find, anyway, so... Nothing to worry about.

This doesn't sound right to me... Unless it's something I missed during the games I played. Are you sure you didn't get scarred during a fight or something? I think the worst that can happen if you're a techie and you use a healing potion is that it just won't work. As far as I know, it won't eat your stats or anything.
