Hey now, I'm all for wanton violence just as much as the next guy, but I won't stand here and be called a bastard. I'm as legitimate a child as there will ever be.

I have to admit I'm much more comfortable with that particular phrase.

How about "brutally maim, eviscerate, and slay the child, no matter where it comes from?"

I would just like to distance myself from that mangled sentence as it is not my post you are quoting.

Well, if you look above the "TONGSyaBASS wrote:", you'll see (quote=Sofokl).

And if you indulge in some logic then you'll understand that what you said explains nothing.

Let's use some circuitous logic guys: You dislike the fact that there are a bunch of members who don't contribute to the forums, so you create a post about it. Then you continue to ramble about this for awhile. How does this contribute to the forum?

And thus he who throweth the stone, gets pegged in the ass byeth the stone.

Actually I created the thread and it had nothing to do with "disliking" people who don't post (which I made clear earlier in the thread). I was curious. I couldn't understand the logic of someone going to the bother of signing up if they had no plans to post anything.

So rambling has to be justified now? I guess we better delete 90% of GD and 50% of the other forums.

I don't understand what you mean. I can only assume that I am the "stone thrower" because I started this thread. I pointed out that Archea had quoted someone else's post but stuck my name on it. In what way does this relate to me asking about lurkers?

it relates to you being thin-skinned and easily offended.

Now my previous post in this page makes a little more sense. There's no real reason to complain about how off topic the posts get, unless you use Terra Arcanum as your bible for every day life.

You really do have a problem with distinguishing someone pointing out facts versus someone getting upset.
e.g. Arch put the wrong name on a quote. I pointed out the mistake. Last time I checked I don't get offended by people making simple mistakes.

Feel free to show me where I was offended.
