I'm an avid Fallout fan, and I dig Arcanum. It really boils down to what you liked about Fallout though. Arcanum has a lot of the rich dialogue...
I don't think the graphics in Arcanum are that bad, but I don't think they're that good either. It would be nice if you could change resolution...

Educator seems nice. Your NPCs learn faster, but you get one less NPC than normal. Well, I don't travel in big parties anyway. :smile:
