Well (without art) ive met wyverns, Boars, wisps, dragorons, some really nasty dog thingy that did 30HP damage per strike, lycanthropes, pungent...
Monkey did 'hit space' often react in time or did you end up 'tapping' (read as beating it with a big stick) it repeatedly as you sometimes have...
Do you play in real time combat or in turn based? I know i find it too difficult to react effectively in real time so i play in turn based i jus...

I think the idea that you could spend your starting funds to buy a cp or two would give the player simply more scope to be able to create his/her...
I agree with Blunder on this i dont see anything wrong with it myself as there is not much you can get with a cp that you could not reasonably...
