I just tried to attack something called a vorpal bunny (sp?)

It killed me and dog in one hit, and 2 backstabs did 1 damage :-o

Yeah, it might not be a good idea to attack a Vorpal bunny unless you know what you're up against. Where was it? There's a 2% chance of getting attacked by a Vorpal bunny in the grasslands area. But, I've never seen it happen though.

Really? I guess that that it is possible to be attacked by a Vorpal bunny in a random encounter. In that case I'm surprised I haven't been attacked by one. I suppose it's because I haven't spent as much time in the grasslands area as the other ones.

It was just sitting there hopping around.

Kind of like the Stillwater Giant, except a Vorpal bunny instead, huh? Well, that might not happen again in a while!

I ran into one while travelling northwards from Caladon. I saved, tried attacking it and then decided to reload and ignore it.

I've had that encounter around Caladon. Not a lot of fun. I'll take the bloody stillwater giant anyway.

Had it again recently with a much weaker party. I just left it alone and tiptoed away.

    Re: Bunny of death

Vorpal Bunny is a cute little white bunny who is level 50, a Master in melee, has ST 15 and can cast Jolt. One of the deadliest creatures in the game. I wouldn't mess with them unless absolutely necessery.
The good thing about Vorpal bunnies is that you can summon them yourself, and it won't cost you a single drop of Fatigue. All you need is MA 100 and a Stillwater Blade. I've had three Vorpal Bunnies taking down a Stillwater Giant in three rounds of TBC, dealing at least 50-75 damage per hit. I actually had plans for making a Vorpal Bunnies breeder character, who would summon 5 little beasties to fight for him in combat.

    Re: Bunny of death

Have you seen Monty Pythons Quest for the Holy Grail? The killer rabbit near the end, THAT is your Vorpal Bunny. Much the same moves too.

And according to my file, it's level 40 and does 50-100 Dt pr. attack and with a DX of 17..... Ouch.

Yes, they have SoP & Jolt.

There is a way to have permanent, free Vorpal Bunny followers. Or Vorpal Sheep for the perverted.

Run a search for "Meta abuse" or "Herd of sheep."

I want a Vorpal guard pig now. Gotta catch some Enraged Boar with Control Beast and do Shadygrove's trick on him.

Why aren't they? The wonders of modding can make many things possible, I once made a test mod where the only enemy was a level 50 chicken with 300 hp.

Vorpal sheep recipie. Max Meta & Morph, get to MA 100%. Cast Vorpal Bunny with Stillwater Blade. Cast Pollymorph on Bunny. Cast Reflection Shield. Cancel in same order cast. Its the Character sheet that makes them Vorpal.

To have an animal follower, just Charm Beast & RS. You don't need 100% MA. Can't get the Patriarch Wolf. WP 20. I'm rather glad he doesn't have enough MA to summon Vorpal Bunnies BTW. More complex ones need Dominate Will. All the other spell users & a lot of others as well. I don't know the parameters yet, learn by trial, not code raeding. That's my style. Can't answer that without diving inside though.

    Try Wererats as followers sometime.
