Is it possible to edit races and/or add more races? I don't find any of the races currently in the game suitable to fulfill my gaming needs..

You might be able to do it with some kinda Mod or with the Wolrd map edit, Im not sure.

I was always pleased with the variety in races that the game lets you have. I can't believe Elvs, Humans, Dwarvs, Half Elvs, Half Orcs, Half Ogres, Gnomes and Halflings isn't enough for you.

What race did you want exactly? Dragon people? :p

Welcome to the House of Lords by the way :D

    thx for welcoming me

I don't really think there's too few races, it's just the advantages/disadvantages don't fit the kind of char I'd like to make.

And what type of character do you want to make? The more specific you are, the more people can give you

You need to extract the files from the *.dat files in your Arcanum directory. There are a couple of programs that let you do this. I use "Arcanun, the graphical undat utility". Be sure you have the latest Visual Basic library installed.

If female characters weren't limited to only half of those, it would be.

Then try the Sickly 1/2 Ogre. A little low in CN. Or the 1/2 Elf, Troll Offspring. With BE 5 & CH 4 he or she is only as ugly as a Smurf doll & as charming as an impeachement coordinator. And then there is Mad Doctor....
