    This was the riddle:

    "My first is high,
    My second damp,
    My whole a tie,
    A writer's cramp."

    Yes... Uhh... Hmm... :-? Okay. I guess I was wrong again.

    Yes.

    "No sooner that it is spoken than it is broken."

    Correct, new:
    I can be touched
    But I hurt those who touch me
    I move swiftly through a dry forest
    But die in a mountain stream
    Where I pass I leave a black shroud.

    Is it something to do with sore knobs? The mountain stream bit is a dead give-away.

    Is that an answer or a riddle? :D

    There's no way he could be telling the truth if everything he said was a lie, hence he must be lying. That was my initial understanding of it as well. However, if he lied about lying about everything, then the statement he made should be true, but we just proved that wasn't possible. So is it neither? Or is it both? Or is it just damn annoying? Bit of a paradox i guess.

    Could it be a stream of lava? Or magma if you prefer?

    And about the question mark riddle, it does fit in a way. The first part is high, the second part is lower or damp if you will. The tie thing i interpreted as looking like a tie, as in a tie you can wear, and a question mark does resemble that (in a way). And i agree it's cramp to write the damn thing.

    Low being equal to damp is introducing just a bit too much rubber for my liking. You're riddle looks like an aging fetishist.

    He can be lying about EVERYTHING he says being a lie, if only some things (including the statement "Everything I say is a lie") are lies.

    This one is correct, new one:

    My children dressed in black or white
    Darkness or light may bring me calling
    I am oblivion, a empty void, to some
    And a haven for others.

    In peace and war I conquer
    Even the tyrants fear me
    Yet the tortured may bless my name

    Unmapped am I
    Uncharted are my waters
    I visit in dreams and reality.

    I never make an appointment
    But I'm always on time
    Laugh in my face
    and I will laugh back.

    Right.

    "There is not wind enough to twirl
    That one red leaf, nearest of its clan,
    Which dances as often as dance it can."

    Correct Maniac

    Next:
    Screaming, soaring
    seeking sky
    Flowers of fire
    flying high
    Eastern art
    from ancient time
    Name me now
    and solve this rhyme

    Correct Sheriff, new:

    My beak is below, I burrow and nose
    Under the ground, I go as I'm guided
    By my master the farmer, old foe of the forest;
    Bent and bowed, and my back he walks,
    Forward pushing me over the field;
    Sows on my path where I've passed along.
    I come from the wood, a wagon carried me;
    I was fitted with skill, I am full of wonders.
    As grubbing I go, there's green on one side,
    But black on the other my path is seen.
    A curious prong pierces my back;
    Beneath me in front, another grows down
    And forward pointing is fixed to my head.
    I tear and gash the ground with my teeth,
    If my master steer me with skill from behind.

    Plow or Harrow. One's driven by animals, and the other pushed manually, but I can't remember which one.

    Actually, I think there's a third type too....

    Plow is correct, new one:

    I can sizzle like bacon,
    I am made with an egg,
    I have plenty of backbone,
    but lack a good leg,
    I peel layers like onions,
    but still remain whole,
    I can be long, like a flagpole,
    yet fit in a hole,
    What am I?

    A snake, although I'd be very surprised if you have personally verified the "sizzle like bacon" claim.
