I stole this ring, it claims to be a negotatior's ring with 4 uses. No spell button, no clue. Any ideas on what it is or how to use it?

Try identifying the Ring. Some descriptions change after you identify the item.
    For example: Amulet of N'Tala.

I stole this ring (im pretty sure its called the Negoiraor's ring) from a halfling in the pub in Tarant.

It gives you +2 on Charisma and a slight incease to your persaution skill 3:)

    Oh! THAT ONE!!

It's called the 'Ring of Influence'. You get it as part of the haggle master's quest anyway.

No, the Ring of Influence comes from the Gnome in the bar across the street from the tailor who has the Negoatior's ring.

BTW, the RoI gives +3 BE & CH, & 3/4 point haggle & persuasion with enough magical aptitude. 1/4 point more & my PC, who is far too magical for a potion of persuasion to work on, even if I could find one without Janya, can get the master persuasion quest.
