Greetings Travelers, Has anyone discovered what to do with the jug of potato moonshine obtained on the Isle of Dispair, besides letting sogg pound it down that is, thanks in advance.

I have had the same question for a long time.

My bottle is stashed away in my "hideout" Inn in Black Root.

Still waiting to find a use for it.
Maybe I'll try it on a dwarf.

You are supposed to give it to Maximillion on the Isle of Despair. If you did and got that special prize bottle of moonshine, then it is to get drunk.

:roll: I am simply not satisfied with these spam answers, the old man who rewards you with the jug hints at something to the effect that you won't know when a jug of his brew will come in handy. Sounds like your supposed to do something more than drink it yourself. Please, won't someone knowledgeable come to my aid?

 

I think you'll be waiting for a long time.

As the IoD is a penal colony, then the only thing that people can pay you are things that they find or make. Thus your reward is the only thing that he can make - moonshine.

Have you not noticed that noone ever pays you there? Cynthia boggs gives you a scarf and a locket, the guard gives you a serpentine amulet, the brewer gives you moonshine etc. etc.

The only use for these things, is to sell to use them or sell them and get the money you wish you would have gotten in the first place. :roll:

 

If you cant get the dwarf to come with you or get his glasses for free, he will trade the glasses for the moonshine.

I always thought that I've been pretty compassionate towards 'new posters' - I hate the term newbie and am sick of being called one, so I always try to be generous, answering questions, etc.

If you're referring to flaming Backstabber...

1. That was a bit of an outburst, sorry

2. The outburst was not because he was a 'new poster'.

"White Thunder" probably sounds familiar to you guys because the real slang term for moonshine is "White Lightning".

And the only thing I've found to do with it is give it to Sogg if he's pissed at you. Or you can roleplay with it and drink it before you abuse the sheep at Madam Lil's.

 

I've been away for a few days (first time skiing ) and haven't been online for longer - so, Darkwalker - is there a thread devoted to abusing me/Josh, where is it, and who which Josh guise was it directed at ?

No news is good news...so I guess this is bad .
