    Umm...

    Err...

I was on my way over here and I was waylaid by, um.... a Giant Man-Eating Tortoise. Yeah, that's it. Took me forever to slay the beast and make good my escape.

What are you hurting tortoise's for? After all the ones we've killed, you get all upset over a man-eating one? Leave it alone!

Jar, so quick to judge, maybe it was tormenting villagers and they offered Luchaire twelve dollars to slay it! On the other hand, you'd better not let the animal rights people know you're slaying man-eating tortoises, those things are pretty rare...

Yes, I suppose killing it wasn't the proper thing to do. I should have just let it eat Virgil and then gone on my merry way.

    *sigh*

Hindsight is 20/20 as they say.

Incidentally, the villagers weren't offering 12 bucks. The best they could come up with was some useless stitched-together assembly of smelly bear pelts they called a Giant Pelt or something or other.

On the positive side.... Giant Man-Eating Tortoise shell can be fashioned into some wonderful armor by the right smith.........

Why can I not find the animal activists' number when I need to? First you are killing man-eating tortoise's, and now villages are killing animals and stitching together their pelts to come up with 'rewards'.

Yeah, for some reason that's not around on these forums. I had trouble deleting accidental postings on this forum too. All you have to do though, is edit the post and there should be a "Delete this post" checkbox down the bottom. Tick that and hit submit. It doesn't seem to be there all the time though :?

The board gives you something like 90 minutes to delete your post, I think.

Or maybe it only lets you delete if it's the last post in the thread.

    Welcome Riddle! Welcome Loki!

Loki, are you related to Rosie? (or maybe an alternate persona of her's perhaps?) Rosie's website and e-mail address refer to her as 'the Loki'.

His riddle thread currently resides in the roleplaying forum. We're just waiting for a mod to move it for us, but they don't seem to want to get their thumbs out of their backsides at the moment! :(

No I am not related to anyone in particular. I don't even know why I chose the name other than the fact it seemed simple enough.
