QUestion about dernholm????

there are halfling wizards in derholm that ask riddles what are all the answers to the riddles????? and is it worth it to solve them?

Has anyone actually used the gem that you get from them. I have carried it around for 3 games now and never used it. What does it do?

I think if you use the gem, the last halfling wizard, the level 50 one, will be summoned and help you win the battle. Haven't tried it yet either.

 

Welcome to the forum!!! I think it does summon that midget wizard, but only once. Another item I think I have no use for is the magic beans that you buy from those halflings. What do they do???

 

if you identify them, they can bring you back to full health, and even resurrect you...

 

I haven't gotten the beans to work actually.

About the gem the halflings give you ... It not only summons a level 50 -naked- halfling wizard, it summons a level 5, naked, angry halfling wizard. The bugger will fight with you, but the times I used him all people in the battle (inlcuding enemies) ended up hacking and shalshing him for some reason. And man, is he hard to kill ... :smile:
