Krupp's Hacks help

I have been trying to figure out how to install Krupp's ranged weapon's mod and the hack to raise the maximum exp level to 127. I cannot find ArcanumData folder, Arcanum
DataProto folder, or the root install directory. Come to think of it, I can't even find where my saved games live. Now, I'm not a total newbie but, this is frustratin'.

Try going to the directory where you saved Arcanum and type in *.dat If it isn't there then enter the smaller directories and keep doing the same thing until you find what you need...Hope this is what you need..

jean_reno95, which one is the .dat file? Is it the saved games?

 

Actually, for Otto's hacks, you don't want to use the .dat files at all.

You need to determine where you installed Arcanum (default is Crogram FilesArcanum) and in that folder there should be a folder called data. Inside of that, you will have a variety of folders which are the ones you need to place Otto's hacks (and mine, for that matter) inside of. Any questions?

 

The .dat files are arcanum 1 to 4 ....there might be more... But if its the "Data" file that you are looking for then it should be in the Arcanum directory.

 

In my Arcanum folder I have 2 other folders. Documents and Modules, nothing named Data, no folders within these folders

Number one. Jean_Reno its obvious your trying to help. But its even more obvious you don't have clue about whats being discussed so your just confusing him.

Dr. Mutato. The only time you don't have a Data is if you haven't ran the game yet. So all you need to do is just start the game then exit. Install instructions are in the readme.

 

The game is up and running, I've beaten it about 6 times. I've never played multiplayer, does that create the Data folder?
