No human can possibly be omnipotent. You would go crazy, and then you wouldn't be omnipotent any more.

Although not an entirely accurate portrayal of this, watch Batman Forever - the Riddler aims of omnipotency, and goes crazy. I am not using the movie as proof, just an example.

Buffy is pretty shitty these days IMO. They went over the top with the entire drama thing. I want semi-witty remarks and splattered demons, dammit! I don't mind a drama & a little depth of character, but with the latest Buffy episodes, the balance is just gone.

Angel is still fun to watch, though.

 

geez, thanks. Last episode I saw was her diving through the portal to save the world..

And all the time I was hoping for a Blake's Seven-esque plottwist in which the main character gets deleted from the show, only to have his / her role taken over by someone else.

Of course, who am I fooling, it's an american show after all :wink:.

 

as much as i love buffy, i have to agree with calis... the magic seems... well, not gone, but... diluted... angel is just getting interesting...

 

You know who agrees with me? The television network programmers who put the shows on late at night on weekdays.
