What is up with the worthless mutt always howling? It is as annoying as the familiar flapping its wings!

I'd prefer the dog's whining over the sound Waramon makes when he goes into his idle animation.

So you found Waramon? Where is Mr. Winde to get the quest?

don't quote me on this, since I am going on memory here.

in Quintarra, the platform where the passage brings you, check the left edge. There should be a guy standing there, and that should be him. If not, check some of the other platforms. I do remember that he was standing at the edge, though.

But like I said, I am only going on memory here, and I have only had the game for a few weeks now (A lot less than most of the other people here have

You are right just a geek.
Right when you get up to the Quintarra village, Winde will be on that platform, a little to your left and down.

In my mind the "Worthless Mutt" is one of the best followers you can have.
He bites anything to death in a round.
I mean, Virgil wouldn´t stand a chance against a Ore Golem, but the cute little dog turn him into a pile of rocks in no time.
And the best of all, his teeth dont take damage from it =o)

    Besides Dog...

Many melee fighters are great - provided that they level up.

I recruited Sogg Mead Mug pretty early in the game (actually after I finished Shrouded Hills, Dernholm and Black Root), and he's been a very strong member. 24 strength, 18 dex, with a barbarian boardsword, he may get up to 3 attacks a round, each at least 35 damage.

BTW, the "Followers" section said Sogg is good and will be upset if PC attacks good creatures. I found out that's not the case - in my current game, I'm using a female dark elf with -100 alignment, but Sogg's reaction is still 55 - same as when I recruited him, and I've killed all living things in Shrouded Hills will Sogg on my side. I think Sogg is neutral, same as Dog.

I've heard Sogg complain once or twice but its Magnus that whines every single time.
