    I'm doing the quests in Ashbury and when I finally decide to go to the Isle of Despair I check my character. It seems that my strength and constitution have gone up one point and are green but my dex and PE and something else are down one and are red. Could someone explain this please?

    Maybe - you are cursed/blessed (this can be done by doing the gods & altars quests, or by achieving some quests like arbala's one)
    - you are wearing items which alters your stats (i think there's an axe +1 cn fo, and helmets mostly decreases your perception by 1)
    Other things which can alter your stats: being (or not being) drunk, having scars/injuries.

    helmets reduce perception
    gloves usually reduce dexterity
