It's time for another top 5 list. This time let's do computer games. I wanna know your favourites.

Here's the twist: since I know you're all a bunch of liers, I'm not interested in what you now think or claim is your favourite. I wanna know which games you have logged most time on in your life.

I'm not showing you mine until at least one of you shows me yours :p

WOW - I've only actually even played two of those (Fallout and Doom). I've heard of them all. What type of games are they, and what kept you playing them? What was Waxworks?

    Mine are, in complete-guess-about-time-spent order:
    1. Doomdarks Revenge: Strategy, played on Sinclair ZX Spetrum
    2. Heroes of Might and Magic: Strategy, PC. I'd guess I played version 2 most.
    3. Swords of Aragorn: Strategy, played on my old Amiga 500
    4. Civilization: Strategy, first version played on my Amiga, second and third on my PC.
    5. Fallout: RPG, on my PC (of course). What would have been the penalty for not having it on my list?

well, I love survival horror, and Silent hill resident evil amd waxworks are my favourites. Waxworks was released by accolade part of it's survival horror series, that includes Evlira 1 and Elvira in the jaws od cerberus. I don't know but I just love horror in general. I love getting scared (escpecially with a girl  )
They games were released in the early 90's and very much looked like eye of beholder, only Waxworks had much better grapchics and sound.

In no particular order (except for fifth place):

    1. Arcanum
    2. Fallout 1 and 2
    3. Civilisation 1 and 2
    4. Deus Ex
    5. Starcraft and Brood War or Diablo/Diablo 2

Those are pretty much the only games I put any decent amount of time into...

    Who took my ladder?

Mavis in no game, my friend. She's far, far more than a game. She's an obsession.

I would say Heroes of might and magic but I played those games so much that I barf on mere though og it. The new part that's coming out soon has the entire engine remade. Heared that the battles are going to be 3d. What I saw looked more like a near 3d isometric view. I hope it's going to be good.

You can't have communist Nazi's. That's like saying I'm a lying honest person. Communism and Nazism are two extreme ends of the scale - Communism is very left wing, and Nazism is so far to the right that they can't even see the conservatives any more.

I just think that people are calling problems with the game 'bugs' far too often - the term is being used too loosely, like kids are being diagnosed with ADD when they really aren't - doctors are just saying it is.
