Prowling Master bugged with UAP?

So I've gotten through all of the prowling mastery clues to find out that it is Albert Leek. However, I had already spoken with him (albeit barely since he didn't have much to say prior). Now when I speak with him, despite the note telling me to find and talk to him, my only dialogue option is "I must take my leave."

This is incredibly frustrating to me. Did I bug it out because I spoke with him prior to learning he was the prowling master? Even with my prowling at max and at expert level, he just won't say anything of substance to me.

Btw, I'm playing the unofficial patch. Maybe that screwed it up?

If the game is in fact just completely screwed up, can I edit myself to be a master through a savegame editor? I've never used one of those (actually I think I did once but that was back in like 2008 so I definitely don't remember how), but desperate times call for desperate measures.

Anyway, if you want to use the savegame editor keep in mind it's a bit tricky to install it on win7 and onward....
