    I was browsing Beard Appreciation Site and came across this with the title of "I managed to post this after 5 hours of being trapped watching it..".

    Must be a bearded problem because I got trapped for only 12 mins.

    Today was a particularly slow day in the lab, little actual work and the boss was out. At one point I wondered how would a pellet of dry ice dropped in a beaker of water behave. The result looked pretty much like this.

    Fast forward, things escalated quickly and we ended up throwing two pounds or so of dry ice in a styrofoam box filled with near-boiling water and a bit of dishwashing liquid. Thought about snapping some photos just in time.

    Dubbed it attack of the killer roe. Kinda regret I only stopped at two photos. In the end the whole table was covered with carbon dioxide-filled bubbles.

    I can imagine the moment:

    Random science man- "Oh, man, the lab's covered in bubbles, we should do something!"

    Muro- "Yes! I'll take some pictures! #yolo!"

    Something I thought had to be shared, it's a newspaper article and it's not porny (well, not really) but I'd still imagine the content is what most people would say is NSFW:

    I almost thought it was an April Fool's Day joke, but it's too early for that. I guess it could still be fake, but just look at the guy's face.

    It's likely that quite a few has seen this before. And yes, it might be NSFW.

    Imagine this without the speech balloons.

    Is this supposed to be some kind of hypnosis experiment?

    Because it's working.

    Found this coin bank in a toy museum;

    And I found these in a weird convenience store where there's something off with just about everything;

    Been dinking around with Rainmeter as a way to use the old splash screens.
    As you can see, it's still very much a work in progress:

    That's not a bad way to check the news and weather at all.

    On the way back up from New York, the wife and I stopped in a quaint Connecticut neighborhood.

    Sorry for the blur, but everything's harder to see in Mianus.

    Naw man, I may spend 15-20 minutes in character creation for an entire party, but I think that puts me at average.

    My thing is I play the first few hours of the game over and over with wildly different play types, finely tuning those first few hours into a tightly controlled min-maxing which, much like the event horizon of a black hole, there is no escape.

    Re:

    Lucky. Once upon a time, it took me a little over two hours to make my entire party for Icewind Dale II, when I first started to play it (choosing their feats, writing their biographies, making sure they were consistent with the Forgotten Realms lore, and so on).

    At the expense of all sadhus throughout the world, I thought this poster was hilarious when I first saw it.

    If you've ever wanted to know what a weasel riding a woodpecker looked like, you're welcome.
