Even when I had first started out here, any one thread staying on-topic was unusual. It was par for the course to have a thread derail on the first page, sometimes within the first five posts.

It's not something to be fixed, though. For a while I actually had a habit of starting a thread just to see which direction it would go after a few posts.

That's another special thing with this forum: Meme's and internet trends all almost absent. It's like a calm oasis where you can get away from the rest of the netz.
