All of those things you mentioned affect what I would guess to be less than 5% of the gaming population. Additionally, those who want to steal games will always find a way to do so. I'm not sure why pointing that out proves anything. Once I got out of my poor and idealistic teenage years I had both the money and the sense to purchase games I wanted to play.

Whatever, ignore the previous paragraph. I could do a point by point argument back and forth with you and everyone else until the end of time and it will change nothing about either of our plans. You can sit around in your circles of like-minded people in rural arctic farms playing another companies' game off a 56k modem hooked up to an oil generator 20 years from now when Blizzard is no longer a company.

Me? I'll be playing a game I'm hoping is gonna be awesome.

By 2001, Diablo II had sold 4 million copies. Let's pretend each of those is an individual user.

    5% of 4 million is 200,000.

Yeah, let's cheat 200,000 people for little to no reason whatsoever. Sounds gooood.

Look, I'm not disagreeing with you in the sense that I'd rather have single player offline. There's probably a way to do it and separate it from the online experience to disallow duping/AH issues. It would be nice, but Blizzard's unfortunate point of entry is what it is, I suppose. I get what you're saying.

However, I do understand *why* they're doing it, and if I were a higher-up decision maker there I would probably do the same thing.

Scandinavia: Where the young Asian women are the ones who sit alone for weeks on end playing video games.

This, I suspect, is part of why nerds love nords.

Yes. Nerds love nords in Scandinavia because they are young Asian women who are alone playing video games. We play LAN and die without saving after playing once.

That would explain why you are playing with yourself.

You've finally run out of ways to justify your presence here. Probably time to think of something new or move on.

Yeah, probably. But first, I must have the last word in this thread.

Fuck Gross are you high? He was gonna move after that last post until you had to try and be funny. Go back to lighting up couches and chairs and sniffing the smoke.
