Well, since Gross routinely entertains and astounds with his stories, I thought I'd impart one of my own.

I've had a thing for a girl since I met her, around six years ago. Now, she and I have always gotten along, had an interest in the other, and even wound up making out at a Halloween party probably four years ago (at the time I was dating a girl who didn't mind such occurrences). I've noticed, however, that every time one of us is dating, the other one isn't, or something to that effect, so our friendship had never gone beyond flirting. Around two years ago I just kind of lost contact with her. Earlier this month she wound up going clubbing with myself and a group of friends. That night, after we got back to a friend's place, we wound up having sex in a spare bedroom. I didn't hear from her again, until I ran into her at a party with the same crowd, last night. At the end of that night, she wound up coming back to my place, and we fooled around (though she didn't stay the night). Now, in my mind, once is a drunken occurrence, twice is something more. Early in the night, she and I ran to get cups and some other nick nacks that had been forgotten, and she spoke a lot of another guy who was at the party. I left, several hours later, when I saw them start to kiss.

Now, I don't care terribly about your opinions. Mainly, I just needed a place to rant, 'cause this is on my mind and bugging me. Why? Because I was interested in her. Yes, admittedly, as soon as I knew she had an interest in him I stepped away, and didn't try and win her favor, but the fact she either ignored that I was interested, or didn't care just kind of is getting to me. Fuck it. I'm gonna go pass out.

I would think this the case, but she did at one point make a remark (which I can't recall word-for-word) stating that she didn't want to date anyone, and yet, she seemed quite keen to date him. Something that never arose in our conversing. This one's already a loss. I just needed to vent...

 

She only said that because she probably thought that was what you wanted to hear. Besides just because she kisses a guy doesn't mean she wants to date him, how naive do you want to be?
