They were just trolling. Or they put up the wrong announcement, it should've been "down for maintenance".

I only patronized GOG once to purchase Master of Magic. I had visited it recently, but as it didn't have any games in the Thief series available, I didn't patronize them again.

I hope GOG is being improved as opposed to dissolved. I also hope that it acquires the Thief games.

As was expected, it was a PR stunt for the end of Beta.

I got all their games, and until they have Planescape Torment, I won't bother with them. Digital distribution is the devil.

Ha. Tell that to the starving artists who lose all their money to the record labels / publishing companies who have their hands in everyone's pockets.

Seriously do you think before you post comments or do you just look up skirts?

By "I got all their games" I mean I have original hard copies of all the good ones, not their gay digital versions.

I think it was implied that he meant digital (game) distribution is the devil judging by the remaining content of his post.

Also, being an obnoxious fuckwit wont do you any favors.

They now have Planescape: Torment. Zanza may now bother with them.

Arcanum, Baldur's Gate 1 + Expansion, Planescape, Fallout 1 and Fallout 2. That's 6 of the greatest computer RPGs all for less than the price of a used copy of Halo: Reach? I love GOG.

By the way, speaking of GOG, you guys should all make your shortcut to their website (if you have one), this, because it makes T-A a little bit of money, which means we don't have to beg people for funds (or, at least, not as much) when time comes around to pay the bills.

You don't have to beg anyway, so far as I know sorcery.net pays all your bills for free no matter what you do.

The Codex probably generates enough revenue to carry us through.

We are hosted by sorcerers.net who also hosts RPGCodex. That is the extent of my knowledge on our monetary affairs, the tab always seemed to be picked up by someone else before I even have the time to react.

So maybe when those sites go down the site will need to be supported from within. I know there's always someone watching the site. Maybe the one paying is watching. It would be really creepy, but then Hellbokos is kinda creepy.

It'd be neat if they made some sort of donation feature.

Would you actually utilize a donation feature?

Also: Good to have you back and amongst the speaking. :)

DF doesn't speak for all of us.
Welcome back, Yuki. Haven't had anyone decent to spar with since you left :(
