Hey fellas, not sure where I could post this, I wanted your opinion on a piece of fan art I made.

The character is an Elven Mage Hope you like it.

 

There definitely is something big about it.

Question #1: What was written there before you edited it?

Question #2: What is the source of the purple light at the lower part of the picture? A beginning of the Teleport spell?

Question #3: Does she have a name? And a story, perhaps?

The purple light is teleportation yes, its the most distinctive look from Conveyence. The shield is from force (I hope its distinct enough)

As for question 3, I modeled it after a character I made in the game, I thought it would be neat to bring them out of the Graphical Shell of arcanum. As for the story... she was a beautiful elven woman, but her aspirations were in not being loved but respected. She strove to become a great hunter, to no avail everyone was still intersted in her looks. So she dabbled in magic, again same results. So she decided to sell her soul for magical power, to make people respect her power, this time they only reacted with fear and disgust. So she finally turned to Mental magics. Now she walks around with her face covered so that people would only distinguish her by her now immense physical and magical prowess.

 

Why yes, very distinct. It's my favourite part of the picture in fact, it has a nice oleaginous and dynamic look.
