That's a freaky law...why can't people see that sex with animals is wrong regardless of the laws that govern its practise? Then again, I could just be a prude.

If humanity is going to bother with classifying beastiality as right or wrong, why are we defining it so loosely? To require proof that an animal did not seek the sexual intercourse is as arbitrary as requiring proof that it did seek and desire the sexual intercourse. What then, are only female humans acquittable of the offense because they were the passive participants of the act?

Decide whether engaging in beastiality at all is right or wrong and stop wasting time in the courts with this nonsense.

Also, I kind of find it odd that you can kill an animal pretty much freely (particularly for food or clothing) but not use it for sex. I mean, animals have about the same rights as slaves in every other respect...

Then again, sex laws are always written by morons, and you can usually have sex with your SO long before you can send them pictures of yourself.
