How would you, Homo gamerapiens, decorate your house, or at least one room, seeing as how you've been in more places and seen more things than mere non-gaming-mortals would never dream of?
Would it be steampunk style? Fantasy style? Mario brothers style? :)

For the sake of the argument let's say money is not an issue, and let's say that you DO want to decorate it in a such style. (This should eliminate some penis jokes, hopefully :D )

Are video games the only thing you talk about? What a geek.

What? Good sir, I haven't raped a game in my life!

But then again, the idea sounds grand. Thanks for the suggestion.

If I wanted to talk about something else I wouldn't be caught posting on "The House of Lords. Terra Arcanum. The World of Troika Games" now would I? What a bone head logic...

Now that you've mentioned it, it DOES sound a bit awkward, I admit. Feel free to change the species name, it's not scientifically established, or anything.

I'd go with the steampunk quasi-Edwardian look for a nice lakeside cottage. Shiny brass and polished wood either hiding the modern day electronics and household devices or have them remodeled into a suitably retro style.
Of course, I've always liked antiques, so that makes this choice easy enough.

I'd have a Steampunk room where everything was an antique or styled to look like an antique, a room like the Calnus from Star Ocean 1 (fuck SO4, preferably with a dagger) for my sci-fi needs, and a room styled after PS4's Motavia - large and open with sandstone and desert plants and stuff.

    Quoted for greatness.

I intend to have a definitely gaming-dedicated room. I would love to have a nice, simple, Victorian-style house, and then quietly add steampunk accents to the exterior and interior of it. Just enough that it's noticeable if you pay close attention, but not enough so that it stands out as being garish.

But have any of you managed to blow an X-Box yet?

For shame! It's the easiest system to get all red and blushy.

The X-Box is a complete slut, the PS3 appears to be asexual, and the Wii is a well-disguised dude.

Well-disguised? It constantly forces you to thrust.

I failed at acquiring an Arcanum cloth map; I cannot therefore participate in this contest.

No, instead I'm decorating my home to resemble a wannabe viking mead hall.
