I just reinstalled Arcanum + 1074 + UAP + Extra after my wife destroyed my hard drive some time ago.
So basically, at the moment, I'm playing a punching bag for monsters.
I intend on making this particular digital meat bag a drunken gnome mage sexual tiger for my first run tho'.

I have an elf wizard, who after reaching level 20 became so powerful that the game started to bore me. I don't even want to go to the BMC. :-?

I'm thinking of making a half-orc with a bandit background. No charisma, only guns and cojones! :D

If you haven't already set the difficulty to "hard", do it now.

It was on hard. I've been in the lair of Bellerogrim, the ancient temple, the maze, Ashbury, Dernholm, ... You get the picture. :D

I have to make a wizard without the Harm spell. :D

I'm running a human pirate right now! He's killed a lot of people and cops just to take their money. Eventually he's going to get a doctorate in the explosives discipline, to make buildings go boom.

    Half-Elf Only Child Archer-Mage.

    It's FUN. Who needs charisma?

Unfortunetly for you. that's not going to happen. They're rock-solid indestructible. You can make doors and windows go boom, though, but that's about it.

I thought as much. Too bad. I would have loved a to have a firebug raze a town or two.

I’m currently playing a female sold-her-soul Elf archer mage. Also a male Halfling orphan planning on having all of Arcanum locked away in the Tarant warehouse.
    :D

That Warehouse is pretty much the base for each and every one of my characters. They keep everything there.

(One human technologist even had Virgil half-naked, bound and gagged in one of the wire-frame crates. She just grins evilly when I ask her about it. I think my characters are even more perverted than I am.)

Sometimes, it feels like Arcanum was built for the very purpose of having elven necromancers destroy everything that's foolish enough to get in their way.

Try playing something unique that isn't very skilled in any combat disciplines or black necromancy. What about a gnomish gambling merchant?

I hate gnomes. Must be the whole half ogre breeding affair. Anyway, I've made a really weak human mage who relies solely on his orc summons and it's quite refreshing since I run and hide and my summoned orcs do all the dirty work.

I hear you. Since I played that quest, I can't bring myself to play gnomes.

I hated gnomes looooooooooooooong before I played Arcanum. *looks at Jan Jansen, acolyte of the turnip* I know exactly who to fucking blame, too. Damn it, Bioware, why did you put that irritating little smeghead in what was otherwise a whup-ass game?

I remember my little gnome mage from WoW!

She apologised to her enemies before making them go kablooey. It wasn't even me who invented that, Blizzard gave her such a wonderfully messed-up voice I had to do it. Anyone who apologises before going on a spell-fuelled rampage is awesome.

There are two possible truths right now.

Truth one: You're a troll or a lulz-seeker, trying to get some bite saying stupid shit like that. In this truth, I don't hate you.

Truth two: You're being honest. In this truth, I do hate you.

You know, I'm fairly sure I have memories of people on the tubes commenting on how hot gnome females looked when 3rd edition D&D hit the shelves...

Gnome. Female. 20 Cha. Midget fantasy gone wild.
