Editing a schematic to create more than 1 item.

    your edit is correct description.mes is Proto-20 or proto is description.mes+20.

    inventorys look at description.mes not proto

    i don't have the description.mes file anywhere in the data folder so i can't check the file.

    Edit:
    Never mind i found one in Arcanum5.dat file.

    of course you have to have a proto matching the description.mes+20 in order for you to be able to put the item in inventory.

    In a lot of places, the game will ask you for an item's proto number, but it won't mean the proto number, it will actually mean the description.mes line number. Watch out for that.

    I suggest you use ScriptEd if you aren't already. Even if you don't script, ScriptEd has a prototype finder. Select the "type" of item you want, then click on the down arrow in the next section and start typing the name. You can also copy and paste the resulting value.

    Ok thanks, didn't think of using ScriptEd, i'll try it.
