Technically speaking, Wolfsbane could be his own uncle. That would require an Oedipus syndrome.

In Oedipus' defense, he never knew it was his own mom he was ramrodding. But technicalities aside....

Oedipus is a fucking stupid tool.

"Oh wow, what a wild coincidence that I murdered this man on the same day the king was murdered. Now, I'm going to marry this guy's wife. Man, she looks a lot like me."

How the hell are you smart enough to solve the riddle of the Sphinx, but dumb enough to totally miss that?

Nah, it's cool, cause he cut his eyes out due to irony.

Nah. It was a political device. He killed the king and married the king's wife to become king. I guess boning his mom was a bonus.

Btw, Orcs showed up in Slavic mythology under a different name, as well as other old folklore. Tolkien didn't invent them. He just made them famous.

Just like how slavery made blacks famous.

[post full of babble concerning links to Frazer's "Golden Bough" and whatever other mythological smack I can dredge up]

What can I say? Superficial analysis of a much more complicated situation is a gift of mine.

Heh, I didn't actually mean to imply that at all, didn't even think of it. I just wanted to look smart without having to describe the whole theory. Because that is how lazy I am, dagnabbit!

I was telling the truth. I'm capable of seeing the least important parts of nearly any situation and adding an air of matter-of-factness to it.

Both are intriguing...but Picayuneman is more esoteric.

Though, I think you can call me The Sophist. I'd be like The Shadow, only less shadowy and more likely to make you say "...Whatever."

You imply then that your role will be that of the somewhat humorous but utterly unimportant sidekick rather than the main star?

Or will he be the main star that appears to be the somewhat humorous but utterly unimportant sidekick just to fool everyone and iwn the game?

No, I'll be the somewhat humorous but utterly unimportant main star that normally makes his adversaries give up out of frustration.
