    Hi there,

I need room desperately! Is it safe to store things on the ground and/or in a container?

Hmm, bummer, guess warehouse owner needs to die :(

Thank you for the quick response.

Well, I don't think you really need to kill him, but do it, just to be sure :)

Actually, you generally don't need to kill the owner. Only wandering NPCs take stuff, and only from the ground - IE, I made a Balanced sword in front of Lloyd's, it fell because I didn't have the space to hold it, I moved off of it so Virigl could get it, and one of the town guards swooped in and scooped it up.

Had to use a Fate Point to critically succeed on pickpocketing it back, because he actually was intelligent enough to equip it!

And people wonder why I don't think stealing is a crime in Arcanum... Only getting caught is.

In the University District, just south of the museum, is a small building with a container inside. That's a good all-in-one stash spot.

I still think the most simple approach is to kill everyone in Arcanum :)

Who needs equipment anyway? All you need is harm, an inventory of blue potions, an arcane staff and repetitive use of the wait function.

Those of us who prefer to lug around half of Arcanum on our backs, pouncing at every opportunity we see a schematic in a shop, squealing with delight any time we find something we've never seen before, and blowing away rampaging pachyderms (not to mention various species of orc and ogre) with an elephant gun.

You can't forget the concussive grenade. I probably made a total of 200 of the buggers (not all at the same time...I think the inventory only has about 70 slots). Being the throwing master becomes extremely lucrative when everything within 10 feet of your target dies.

Heh. I've taken to throwing everything. Say, when I've been firing at the enemy, and I only have enough dots left for one more shot of my elephant gun, but two or mote enemies...

I go into my inventory and heave everything at the enemy. Spare balanced swords. Mechanical daggers. Shovels. Armor. 4000-stone stones...

You name it, I heave it.

I got the 5000-stone stone from Ashbury when I played as a Half Ogre in my Juggernaut background. What's most fun about that is how many critters and NPCs don't get back up. Sir Garrick Stout gave me some trouble, but I figured that it's because he's an ass.

It occurs to me, if you're a damned good pickpocket, you could "plant" the stone in most NPC's inventories.

Going straight from "none" to "heavily encumbered" would be a pure mother for those poor, poor NPCs whom you may then murder at liesure. :)

Molotovs are okay, handy when nothing else is around or you need something to bomb a crap-weak enemy, but you tend to get a lot more bang for the buck from other grenades - and naturally, they're easier to carry.

I'd all but forgotten that you've yet again abdicated as a woman and entered the asexual state known as motherhood.
