an i noticed he has a bugged Dark Helm. was that intentional?

His stock comes from a pawnshop inventory I created. The pungent odor discription is what was encoded into the wineglass prototype.

And yes, I added a Dark Helm. I didn't mean for it to be a buggy one though.

Oh, well, it'll add a bit more risk to the game. Yeah! That's why it was pawned! :p

oooh! that's a good angle! an i like the Leadership medallion an the large plate-mail! good stuff!

another thing, will you be addin any new backrounds? and will you/have you improved Arronax, as he is painfully weak in vanilla Arcanum.

I'm going to add the backgrounds hack before the next release, but adding a completely new one is down near the bottom of the list.

And no, I haven't done anything with Arronax or Kergan - yet....

    hmmm... mysterious...

i know i have a few unrealistic ideas, but i was wonderin if you read any of the threads about incoperating other races into Arcanum.

it didn't sound altogether impossible. especially the realistic (ie NOT the car-arcanum) backround for being a vampire.

even being a race that's already in Arcanum, but not playable, would be brilliant!

many of the art files are already there and, although i'm NO modder an will never be able to become one, this doesn't sound like somethin that CAN'T be done to me

    edit

i apologise for my continued input of virtually un-creatable ideas! a man can dream though.. a man can dream...[/u][/i][/b]

The CAR was simple art changing and some complex scripting.
    Way beyond my level....

Creating a follower isn't too hard. You could make a chicken become one and have it talk too.

Using anything besides what Troika gave us for the PC - now that's another matter. Like I said, there is a way, but I have no idea how.

yeah, i thought it'd be too complicated.

another thing, i read some of your old posts an some of your "old-rroyo" posts, about things like hobbit-holes an slave markets.

will you be includin these in your expansion?

The hobbit-holes - yes. That's the number one reason Brandybuck is being built.

The slave market - no. At least not at this time. In it's original form, the slave market was detritmental to the game as as you were able to acquire too many followers too soon. I may revive it later as part of a rescue quest.

There's been over a dozen ideas that sounded good when I thought of them but just didn't work once they were built. So, I took them back out.

I want a salve market. God knows there are so many things that could be solved by applying salve...

Huh? Do they sell psychoactive salves that have same effect as Dominate Will? I want that. Seriously.

i started the game again recently with a dwarf named Dain an somehow managed to get to the lodge by pure accident. it still doesn't get marked, but i passed by an it was there.

is there any quest involving this lodge or is it there for lootin purposes?

Download and install the Cerdo Proudfoot scr.
That'll mark the map so you can return to the lodge.

The main reason it was built was to be a base of operations for that area.
(There's a couple major campaigns planned for that corner of the world)
