i just read the manual an learned that u can only have 1 spell for every 4 points in intelligence, I mean what the hell is this, there are like 80 spells and u can only learn 5!!! If this is true it is alot better to bee a tec. guy since u only need high intelligence to learn shematics, and to learn high level spells u need both high intelligence and high willpower!
please tell me u can have more than 5 spells!

its one LEVEL of spells per 4 IN.

Each college of Magick has 5 levels of spell. You must have 20 IN to be able to learn all five of any given college.

Umm. No. I'm pretty sure that's wrong. You can learn any number of spells provided you have at least 5 INT. You can only maintain one spell (i.e., summoned creatures, energy shields, etc.) per 4 points of INT.

And to put the last word in: for every spell level you need 3 more WillPower points, starting at 6 WP for a level one spell.

You also need to be at a high enough level to learn the spell (ex: level 15 to learn the last spell in each college)

Intelligence just limits the number of spells you can maintain at any given time. For example, you'd need a 12 IN to use Hasten, Tempus Fugate, and have an Ogre summoned all at the same time.

Oh, and all you need is an IN of 4 to go all the way to level 5 of any given spell college. Willpower affects advancement of colleges, not IN.

    Nope.. 65 CPs, 80 spells.. It's impossible.

Then again, you can't get all the spells in AD&D either.

I think you can only get 53 spells at max without spending any points other than intelligence and will power.
