Recommend any good followers?

Hi, my character is level 17 and I am technologically-inclined(bomb expert). Are there recommendations for any good sidekicks?

I currently have Magnus and Virgil, but am thinking of replacing Virgil with Jayna Stiles. Will that be a good idea? :smile:

 

well, i used Sebastion,franklin payne,virgel,magnus,and dog. but i guess replacing virgel with janya would be a good idea,because virgel is magick-heal,while janya is techno-heal.so yeah that probebly would be a good idea.

But Virgil might have an interesting story background, don't forget. Jayna is kind of boring.
But the dog (aka worthless mut) really rocks!

yeah virgel does have a cool background story,but for a techie the space virgel is in could be taken by somebody more useful.

 

You're right so far, but Virgil can heal all the other followers that will join you. X

 

cant janya? i never noticed if she could or couldnt heal other people but she was always healing my charecter.

 

She did? I have to use those healing salves she made for me, because Virgil's helaing spells don't work and Jayna seems to ignore my wounds. Strange...X

 

yeah, i gave her healing stuff (healing salves,and those things that bring back the dead,yknow the schem from isle of dispair.) and she would heal me,and once brought me back from the dead. did she ever do that for you?

 

Hmp, I've learned the schematic from the Isle of Despair yesterday, but I'm not able to use it yet, but I haven't thought of giving that healing stuff to Jayna (oops) that's why she never heals me - I'm damn stupid. X

 

Isn't that schematic from the isle of despair the reanimator..From what I know, it functions like a create/summon undead, so it can't ressurrect u, ........... or maybe Ive wrong...Not sure.. :smile:

 

Also, sometimes Magnus or other npc uses healing salves(if they have one), on u, so there's no need to take Jayna... :smile:

 

I haven't had the chance to test it yet. I'm not sure either. Could be a gadget to raise undead (good point by the way) or a "ressurrector". We'll see...X

 

Isn't the raise the dead thing in Kerghan's Laboratory, not on the Isle of Despair?

Is that Kerghan's lab? I always thought it was just the Stonecutter's clan and what'sisname just found Kerghan's book and started experimenting.

 

What places are you refering to? Aargh...my curiosity kills me. X

 

It's called the Stonecutter's Clan. You can get the location marked on your map by talking to one of the dwarves at the Wheel Clan. I forget his name, but he's the one who wants you to find his brother and tell him to come back home.
