Cannot find Vol'ars Wisp!

I searched whole Glimmering Forest, I had endless "random encounters", I wiped the whole Left Continent from any kinds of monsters and "Will-o-Wisps", BUT still I couldn't find any Vol'ars Wisp to get their essence for Whysper. I understand, that those "Wisps" are rare, but they can't be THIS rare! Any assistance will be appreciated!

 

Find the old lagoon, I'm fairly sure there are a couple there along with some other apes and stuff. W 1695 S 1318 on the world map. I think that's where I found them.

Well I actually found it in random encounter I think, there was a pool with some beers apes and other wild life.

 

So thee are lots of them

 

I'm walking through the game the second time. I couldn't find this essense during the first time. Now I found some Wisp's essense in the chest in back room in Tarantian museum (where Gar and false giant's pelt were). I guess now is it the essense which of need in Quintara?

 

The wisp essence in Parnell's is for a Theives Underground quest.

 

Yes, it's from thieves' quest. But I stole it back from Mr.Black after performing this quest. If it possible, I want to know what to do with this essense - throw it out and forget or bring it to Quintara?

 

What is the use of the Wisp of essence aside from the quest?

 

Well, I've been to the Old Lagoon, but I could only gather 3 of them. What should I do now? I've spent WEEKS near the place, but thera are no more encounters. No vol'ars wisps, no usual wisps, not even monsters. I only need two damn wisps, could anybody send me them through e-mail, or somthing? :grin:

 

Try resting/sleeping in that lagoon until morning over and over until u get one. Ive noticed that the game regenerates random monster encounter when u sleep in hostile territory. Good 4 levelling up too, coz youll normally find average opponents.. :smile:

 

for real? i hate trying to level up by traveling,cause all of the monsters are pussies,little bears and wolves and kite thingies.its also annoying to try to travel cross country and get stopped every two seconds by some little wussy monsters that dont give good exp.

Darksider - What version of the game are you using? I've never completed this quest, but I could've sworn that she said she needed 5 essences. Could be wrong, though...

 

Every time I've played it has been 1 essence.. that was on hard difficulty as well (don't know if that even matters).

 

Honestly speaking, I'm not sure about the quantity. For some reason I remember FIVE. Anyway, it's easy to check out -- I'll just go and speak with her again. Let's see what happens...

 

Volar's Wisp...

Maybe it varies depending on what type and race of character you are playing. I was playing a Half-Elf when I played the first time, and it was only one she wanted. I'm a Dwarf currently, so we'll see if it's five this time. Hmm...

i have the one from h.t's, and wild ones. she wont take any of them. i'm getting tired of carrying them around.
