A railroad spike would just make me want to shove it up somebody's ass

    Railroad spike it is!

Back on topic: In the Ancient Maze, I once got to see a Shambler get stuck in a treewall and just kind of "disco-dance" for a while.

Make it accessible. Make one of the walls destructable with dynamite. That would be cool. Rather like the idea of a railroad spike, but would prefer a large glowing light sabre.... OOOhhh How about making the Railroad spike have some cool damage. Can you do that?
Oh by the way I KNOW I can't get to it I was just reminising about TRYING to get to it. Hours and hours .... well at least 30 minutes, coming up with different ways to try and get to it collecting all the stuff together etc etc (drifts off into silence as his warped and damaged brain concocts another hopeless plan to gain access to the fabled f*****g sword) :eek:uch:

Make the Spike a Multi-Purpose item:

    - Use it as a weaapon (High dmg + Poison due to rust)

    - Throw it at an enemy and it will explode like plastique (use once)

    - Give it to one of Madam Lil's girls and watch them masturbate with it

    - Sell it to Ristezze for 10,000 gold pieces

    - Give it to Bates in exhnage for his mansion (you will later see Chukka raping Bates with it on the street)

    - Sell it to HT Parnell for 10,000

    - Give to to Cederic Appleby and he'll run off to kill Bates with it (and get his ass diced in the process)

    - Show it to Magnus and he'll say its evil!

    - Make it another weapon that can harm Kerghan in his shell

    - Try to take it into Tulla and there will be a terrible explosion killing everyone in the town (your survive though). Magic and technology don't mix!

    - etc.

Here are some fun moments I recalled last night... (and encountered)

1.) Having your evil swordsman slain by Ol'Bessie due to low HP, overconfidence, and a critical failure.

2.) Sneaking into the Shrouded Hills Bank without blowing up or unlocking the door, and then being unable to get out. (the clerk ran inside the safe room durring the bank robbery and I followed her, but she stepped outside and locked the door before I could get out...) Talk about being caught red-handed. >.<

I've got another one: I just killed Bates, after inviting Chukka to my party. He was a bit peeved with me, but didn't leave until I bought the mansion( his pictue was still on my HUD). Then, when I was walking to Ashbury, I was stopped by Chukka, who would have attacked me had he not been in my party already. I talked to him, and I asked,
    "Chukka, what's wrong?"
"Chukka no like what you doing."
"Oh, come now, old boy! You can't be THAT mad, can you?"
    "Maybe not."
"Fancy joining up with me again, Chukka?"
    "Yes. More for Chukka do?"
He didn't like me as much, but he came back after I killed Bates, and is still in my party.

Quite possibly Bates did noyt treat CHukka well at all....Maybe as a young rich kid growing up he liked to have "live toys" that he could dress up, play with, abuse anally (WHAT??????) andthings like that....perhaps he suffered in a way similar to Gar under Parnell....

....Maybe deep down inside he wanted Bates to die but after so many years of oppressive servitude Stockholm syndrome kicked in and he felt bad over Bates getting whacked.

Well, Bates had become a snotty old coot.

BTW: I fixed the maze this morning. Added one wall, removed another. For the first time in its history, the sword is now accessable.

Well, you'll always have the 2000 coin at Kerlin's altar to helplessly drool over.

Yes, but by telling the coin how easily I can get other sources of money, I make it feel bad.

Nah - But I might change the treasure setting from M2 to M3 if enough people ask.

BTW: I haven't tried it yet, but I added the fire damage stats from the pyrotechnic axe to the sword, and if it works, would you like to be the one who names it?
