    the only warcraft game i've played was the one on the ps1, so i can't be totaly against warcraft. i also haven't gotten very far on it, but after playing starcraft, warcaft just wasn't as enjoyable so i don't play it that much.

    You can actually enjoy a free for all game!!! (as long is its multiplayer)
    Warcraft has cool maps, though (like Dota Allstars) and it's easy to edit stuff in the world editor. That's about all I like about it.[/quote]

    Other than Starcraft and Warcraft being among the greatest RTS's of all time, I fail to see what's so special about them.

    I found the roadbuilding in part one to be annoying. And I don't recall it having any troll axethrowers either, just spear-throwing orcs as ranged units on the orc side. Pity that.

    Warcraft 2 rocks though, and has always rocked and will still be rocking on when I'm old and in a rocking chair.

    I have, and I adore it to this day. It's a wonderful concept, possibly the best racing/shoot 'em up game ever done, but it's the music that truly makes it awesome. Nothing says ownage better than winning a race to the sweet tunes of Black Sabbath's Paranoid. And you can play as Olaf from the Lost Vikings. Can't beat that.

    And emulators rock (though I played it already when it was brand new, in those golden days when we used to have a SNES).
