Sup man, try doing a search for that topic. I'm not certain, but I'll give a wild guess it's come up before. This would go in Hints & Tips.

Welcome to the forum. Have a pleasant tenure.

Useless Triva: Jedi is an official religion in England.

ARCANUM MULTIPLAYER SUCKS! There's a reason why no one plays it.

Someone spread the rumour that if 10,000 people put Jedi as their religion on the census a few years back that, by law, it would become an official religion.
    Unfortunately:
    A. Less than 10,000 people put Jedi
    B. No such law exists

I remember a government minister describing it as ''Utter rubbish. Now please ask me a real question."

I'll chime in here because you're piggybacking on perhaps the most misquoted dialogue from the Star Wars trilogy. Most people think the line is, "Luke, I am your father." The actual line is, "No, I am your father."

Well, well. I see that nitpicking on commonly mistaken Star Wars quotes is more than a reason for returning from the void... :D

Yes, but if I say "No, I am your father" it doesn't make much sense when used out of context does it? There's no question here about whether Dark Elf was Rosie's father or not so if his quote had been:

Then it makes no fucking sense now, does it? However, this does:

The no is in response to a question which in this context, simply doesn't exist.

The whole actual dialogue setup is:

Darth Vader: If you only knew the power of the Dark Side. Obi-Wan never told you what happened to your father.
Luke: He told me enough! He told me you killed him.
Darth Vader: No. I am your father.
    Luke:No! That's not true! That's impossible!
Darth Vader: Search your feelings you know it to be true.
    Luke: Nooooo! Nooooo!

If Rosie had said, "I am a Jedi. By the way, my father was killed." then you'd have the right setup.

It's kind of like "Play it again, Sam" which is never actually said in Casablanca. Bogart - who's often credited with the line - doesn't say a line anywhere near resembling that with the closest being "If she can stand it, I can. Play it!". It's actually another character who then says "Play it, Sam.". But "Play it, Sam" doesn't have the same impact as "Play it again, Sam" with the later implying that Sam has already played the song which in most cases where the misquote is used, is more often the case.

    Here endeth the lesson.

Yay! I'm a crack baby! but yea, some quotes were meant to be misquoted, you know? Like "I could care less" should, actually be "I couldn't care less". The explanation for this one is rather simple though, as it's a matter of simply dropping the contraction. Oh, and on a similar note: how well will you score? I didn't do good. I got 0/5.

2/5 and damned if I didn't almost get the Yorrick one. I was a second away from entering Horatio thinking "Yeah, it's Horatio" before I capitulated into the classic misquote.
