    eveytime i try to play arcanum i keep getting an error message popping up saying this application has failed to start because bink32.dll was not found yet when i look in the arcanum files its there anyone any idea what to do about it?

    ok i extracted it into arcanum files and it still says that it is missing

    now its come up with

    the procedure entry point _AIL_set_redist_directory@4 could not be located in the dynamic link library mss32.dll.

    Go here download all the files you get tol you're missing and put them in the system32 folder.

    ive downloaded the files i just dont understand what that means

    Did you keep a copy of the one that was in your arcanum folder? it might've wanted you to move that one into the system32 folder.

    Download the files you're missing from the link xzbyte posted, then put them in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM and then open up Run via Start Menu and type regsvr32 (filename) for all of the files.
