As Tolkien showed us, the lure of invisibility would be hard to resist. Add to that the evil compulsion magically imbued on it and I think I can safely say I'd be in bandages and sunglasses before you could say Happy 111th birthday Mr Fatman
I think invisibility is an inherently corrupting concept. I've seen very few characters in any sort of literature who were able to turn themselves invisible and were at the same time, absolutely upstanding, and honest individuals.
I thought the invisibility was an un-related property of the ring like an added bonus to the kick ass power it gave the user once the gave into it or unlocked its power. I believe the whole corruption part of the ring is due to the power and evil inside it no the power to turn invisible. On topic yes, I would because ringwraiths are funky.
I was just talking about invisibility in general, and why i think its such a clever power to associate with such an evil ring.
What is this? A topic on rings of invisibility and nobody's even briefly mentioned the outstanding possibilities of voyeurism??? You guys don't deserve to be here. You're not nerdy enough.
I think that's what Sleek meant when he said that invisibility was a corrupting concept itself. At least, that's what I first though about when he mentioned it...
Wow the posibility to both rule an evil world empire and to be a perverted little invisibile creep at the same time. I would put it on for the invisibility alone. And so would anyone else here. PS.Seek jeek you would so definetly putt it on so don´t even try it.
If you had an all-powerful ring, you wouldn't need to be invisible to see naked women. Women would flock yo your cock by the hundreds. I want to learn how to teleport, myself. That would also make me sexually irresistable (as if I need the help), because what woman wouldn't want to be able to say: 'My boyfriend can teleport?"
