... or why are certain words being linked to this funky search site? Is it just my browser that's got a nasty infestation, or does this show up for all of you?

EDIT: Shit, this happens at other sites as well. Certain words get linked to a site called ntsearch or something. Why does things like this always happen when my sister has used the computer?

Download ad-aware and run it and/or get rid of all the programs using the add/remove software tool that you don't recognize.

Truth be told, it could've been something you got from this site. God knows what kind of things try to infest themselves on you when you come here.

Besides stupidity, inhumanity, and intolerance, you mean?

As I said; an anti-adware program should do the trick at getting rid of it. Further, you may want to install a firewall.

Make sure you get a waterwall as well though. If your firewall ever gets out of control, you'll need something to douse it with.

The program that was recommended to me by Gateway was “Spybot - Search & Destroy”.

Try Http://www.downloads.com , its free.

Yeah, that's a good one too, but personally I've had troubles with it freezing while getting rid of the adware.

I've had no problems with it...
You might also try SpywareBlaster.
