That’s nice. I think I’ll feed you to MR. Bigglsworth!

If you’re talking about Arcanum, I’ve done that at least 8 times all the way through, not including the other times.

It's pretty funny. I've only beaten Arcanum twice as of yet... but I've created vast legions of characters that never made it further than perhaps Tarant.

    I'm too easily bored...

Yes! It's the modern society that is to blame for all my inconveniences! Brothers and sisters, prepare yourself for overthrowing the rule of the technocrats and bring the world back to it's intended fashion!

Up for the revolution with ploughs and scythes!

... or perhaps not. I'm having this nagging little suspicion that my life might get even duller should this actually work out...

That's the price of being born in the modern age.

I'll cheer you up Dark Elf. I made a legion of characters and most of them have'nt even left the area of the crash site. :D Heck, I even hadn't passed the game a single time! My last half-orc techno/warrior got as far to Salty Pete and got his quest. Oh well, maybe my new halfling thief will have a better time...

Heh, it's a curse being so indecisive isn't it?

I'm always having this problem in all kinds of RPG:s were I get to create the character myself. Finally, I have to use all the willpower I could possibly accumulate and stick with the character I'm currently playing with, for better or for worse.

Hope you finish it someday... and welcome to the forum! :wavey:

Seems, as we are the same type of computer game fans. It gets me seriously anoyed trying to think a perferct roleplay team or character that would suit me, and I sometimes catch myself on deleting them after about 5 minutes because something is wrong.
And thanks for the greeting. :)

Same here, but instead of try a new character I often try a new game and abandon my last character halfway through with the promise that I one day will return to him.

I reformatted and arcanum is no longer on my hard drive. Don't think I would play it anymore anyway, I'd get bored and quit.

If I don’t like what I did I take back the point with an editor. I was going to follow the middle ground with this character but it bugged me, so through out all my Tec skills and became a mage/fighter. I kept the light heal schematic it allows me to make anything I want with whatever I have in hand (usually arrows).

I'm playing Fallout 2 now, and I'm reminded again how much it rules. The best thing is the amazing sense of humor and all the references to other games, books, and movies. Like, the three dog tags you find in the Khan bunker have the names Tuco, Blondie and Angel-Eyes. The Shi doctor spouts an almost direct quote from Silence of the Lambs when you try to get the spleen from him, one of the porn star names you can pick are Mr. Pink, so on and so on. And guess what, Interplay says they are going to develop Fallout 3! Even if it is an outside developer and not Black Isle (God, please make it be Obsidian or InXile), it will have to be good. The fact that Fallout 2's graphics are ugly as my hairy ass and the game is like a drug to me means that a grapically-beautiful Fallout 3 would destroy my life.

I don't like fallout. You only have 1 year to complete the game or gameover!

Some people like to have a limit. Makes decisions a whole lot more important. Means that there's plenty left to explore the next time around.

I'm gonna play it once with the time limit then I'm going to try and find a fix to take the time limit away.

A year is plenty of time to complete Fallout. If you take longer, you're seriously resting too much, or you like going to the Glow for weekends.

I don't like fallout 2 as much as the number one because of the references to other things. The world in fallout one felt like the real world because it didn't have alot of references, but why would the boxers after a nuclear war have the same names as right now, and like ears? :???:
