Bad news: Gilbert Bates hates you, most NPCs are easily annoyed by you and not many followers would want to join you.

Good news: My ogre warrior is level 50 and he can deal 3/4 health of a lvl 50 warrior NPC with one hit(No cheats/hacks) You should look at their journal; it's really funny.

I'm still trying to find the void right now. My followers are Virgil, Sogg, worthless mutt and Loghaire.

Really, this should had been posted in the Arcanum Discussion instead. :)

Unless, you wanted to ask how to get to the Void, of course. Have you explored the island of Thanatos yet?

I’m currently playing as an ogre mage. Level 50 and haven’t gotten to Gilbert Bates yet. Also master of melee, dodge, have the scourge, full strength and dexterity, but I have a hacked .EXE that lets me reach lever 127 over time so I can still get stronger.

Level 50 and you haven't talked to Gilbert Bates yet? Shit... that's wicked man, plain wicked. I'm usually around level 12 or something when that happens...

I’ve been out running around Kree for a long time. Ware Rats are easy once you get Fireball.

    I'm level 51 now.

Powergaming is what makes gaming worth it. There's a certain thrill involved in getting your killing potential as insanely high as possible.

Besides, Baal is heartless. He won't take damage. :p

I just wish I could do what I did in Diablo 2, make a full set that made me all but indestructible and a sword that did around 3,800,000 damage probably more. It was fun on hell level in hell standing there as Diablo tried beat the hell out of me and I didn’t get hurt, then I got board and killed him with one swing. What I called the Blackwind set, that was where i got me last name from.

How long did it take you to complete the set hmmm? Way to accomplish nothing.

Bates may hate your ogre because his beauty number is low. (How low is it?) Try casting the Power of Water spell on yourself (raise beauty by 4) before talking to people. I played a character with beauty =1, and almost everyone wold attack him if he walked into any town without that spell.

About 3-5 hours, not including the prototype which took about 8-10+ hours, all together about 3-5 days. What can I say I was board?

Another thread effectively ruined by Baal. Jar, DU, take the advice of a former spammer, and do NOT let Baal back in.

well, now that this thread has already been ruined, i guess i will make a comment.

when everyone said thar people would attack on sight, it doesnt do that for me, no matter how ugly i am.

They only get mad if i start killing innocent civillians...

Since you ar level 50 already, you may not have any CP to spend, but you are less likely to be atatcked if you walk around with a Puity of Water spells cast on yourself (raise your beauty).

I'm playing a game with a half-orc whose beauty started at 1 (due to background). I have to cast this spell on myself almost all the time in towns and cities. When I powershop, I have to hide in a quiet place; if I just "sleep" a day near the shop, the spell would wear off and I'd be attacked the moment the sleep ended.

Smoking jacket with purity of water works well, tip: purity of water is stackable.

Are there large smoking jackets? I don't remember seeing those.
