Xavier Silonus

Who is Xavier Silonus?
I found his name in the global variables list but I don't remember ever hearing about him in the game.

{1000}{Leon - 1 = Allows PC to access dialogue branches to get Tulla to send Xavier Silonus to help Cumbria}

{1002}{Leon - 1 = Xavier Silonus has set up shop in Cumbria}

 

I've never met or heard of him either - maybe he was an early version of King Praetor?Are there any other places, he's mentioned?

 

I haven't found any other mentions of him. It seems that half the game was cut.

From the description in the global variables it sounds like he was a Tulla agent you could send to Cumbria. Perhaps they had planned an ending where you can ally Cumbria with the mages and it improves through magick rather than by copying Caladon.

Isn't he that guy in Stillwater who wants you to find the Giant and all that stuff? I KNOW his first name is "Xavier", but I'm not too sure 'bout that other name...

 

The guy in stillwater definitely isn't a Silonius. I saw the same name the last time I went through the arcanum files, and I was wondering why I hadn't gotten any quests related to the guy. He does seem to have been a major part of the story.

 

Ah, now I remember. The guy in Stillwater's called Hippington. But who's then this other guy Xavier?

 

I'm sure Tim would enlighten you, if you were motivated enough to create a fanmade mod.

 

I'm motivated enough, but I just don't have the time to make one. Besides, if I used the name "Xavier Silonius" for any one character, I'd make a whole new story for him anyway.

 

If you were truly motivated enough, you would MAKE the time.
