I know it's a box for the U.S. release. In Europe I understand that DVD is more normal. Everywhere else I haven't got a clue.

It'll be a box up here. The only thing we get in dvd cases are movies, or at least that's what I've seen.

if the manual is big enough i doubt that it will be in a DVD box, unless they crop the manual.

not that i really care, over here waiting for the free copy promised...

    Hey Monkey,
Speaking of free copies, do they hit before or after store copies?

aside from the fact that the DVD boxes i've recived when buying games are only made for one CD, and all the games had more then one, i love em.

they take up less space, and thats good, they cost less to ship, that is good.

and they will actually take some punishment as well.

I have never seen a game ship in a DVD box. That would be a bit scary, thogh. One of the things I was not happy with the demo was a lack of at least a readme manual. <looks at his BGII manual>. Ack! No way!

I've never gotten a DVD box before, I prefer just keeping the cd case, but then again when you have over 30 cd's you screw the boxes and have to figure out a better storage system

I have a few DVD boxes for two CDs, but anything more and they probably can´t be properly fitted in a DVD box as they are designed now.

yeah, i got FOT in a DVD case, and it got 3 cd's. its really no pronblem, they just have 2 loose(with a plastic case)in the case.

but still, its not proper package with such packing, in fact i can't see why the first cd was in the cd holder in the DVD case at all, it would be better with 3 free cd's instead.

I have boxes with a CD/DVD in each side of the box. Not just loose CDs in plasic cases.

    Quite correct.
It does only leave place for a slim manual, but as I see it the CD holder is not made in space effective way. If you made it smaller you should be able to have a normal size manual.

One thing that annoys me is about some games is you put out good dollars for it and you end up with a little slip inside the cd case that basically only tels you how to install the game and a quick reference card. You then have to turn around and print off a couple hundred page pdf file to get the actual documentation. They 'Myth' boxed set is one such example.
