Where's my sig?

Anybody help me?

I put in a one-line sig on the profile page, go to Preferences, check the 'always show sig.' box, save prefs and leave. Go back into the prefs page and the 'no sig.' box is checked again. Sig has never appeared on any of my posts.

A small problem, but annoying. (BTW I know there's an option to show sig each time you post - I may be dumb, but......)

 

What file type is the sig? If it's not a JPG or a GIF, there could be problems displaying it.

Ta for the reply - maybe I am dumb. I entered text in the signature field on the profile page - should this not appear on my posts?

That's a weird problem, and I'm aware of it. I think it's caused by the security update to the preferences page. I installed the "official" update earlier today, instead of the patchwork one we had before (effectively upgrading the board from version 1.4.0 to 1.4.1) but it doesn't seem to have helped... I'll try and dig into the code a bit to figure out why it isn't working.

See the 'Originality bah blah' appears when I hit 'show signature on this post' but the setting to default to this don't work.

I'm still having problem with this one but when I am not login, the show signature is checked. After I login and post or reply to another topic, the show signature is ignored.

 

Been a-bug-hunting, gotten rid of a few.

This seems to have fixed matters for me. Lemme know whether or not it now works properly for you guys, k?

It works okay but had problem with cookies when I first enter and check for new posts. Anyway, it'll work out later probably some changes in the cookie name, etc.

Yes, I can host it there, that is if they don't block it. My site at 50Megs (see my signature?) is blocking pictures so I cannot link any image from there to here. I'm not sure with Netfirms but I am currently having problem uploading through FTP.

I have insomnia, not exactly just nocturnal so I am still awake. You, why are you not sleeping?

 

I'm a night person all the way, I don't know the night seems alot better than the day sometimes.. noone bothering you that is..
But not all the time. Well maybe I'm a little nocturnal myself.
