    Me and my friend want to re-write/re-compile the game for cross-platform like android the whole game and upgrade it if we succeed.
    I want to ask if someone can help me find all the open sources that have been written from (alive Arcanum) and such projects. Also will help all the models / textures and stuff that somebody succeed extracting from the game files.
    I searched for some in here but no luck with that ... arcanum alive is not online anymore as i see ....

    they have anyright nowadays on the game ?
    and if i make it on my own on other platform what would they claim :D


    ++ if i release it as a modification of the game ? :D

    The game is not even 15 years old its hardly in the public domain at this point. If the internet is telling me the right thing (and it is never wrong) then Activision own it for between 95-120 years from its initial publication so yes they have a right to the game

    Having said that if future hardware and operating systems become truly incompatible with running Arcanum at some point in the future then they might let it become abandonware.

    So mod to your hearts content but never try and make a single cent from your work. And even then you may still get a cease and desist letter but that is pretty unlikely if you aren't making money.
